Slides from the 50s
I bought these slides in an auction on eBay. I have no information about the family that appears in them. If anyone knows who these people are, please let me know. It certainly looks like it was a beautiful day that they spent at Frontier Town.
Thanks to Harold Bessey, I can now identify this as a picture of White Eagle.
The car in this train looks to me like it was still under construction when this picture was taken. Note the ticket hanging from the girl's wrist - I have included a close-up of each side of it from two of the other slides in the set. In the 50s and 60s, and into the 70s, money was not used in the park - purchases were recorded on this ticket and payment was made when exiting Frontier Town. The front of the ticket entitled the wearer to stagecoach and train rides, and attendance at the rodeo.
